ENROLLMENT POLICY

  • Annual registration is held during February for the following school year. At that time, currently enrolled students, siblings of currently enrolled students, and Bethany United Methodist Church members have the opportunity to register, followed by the general public. Registration will remain open until all classes are filled.  

  • Registration forms are located on the BMWS website.  Forms must be completed online, printed and submitted to the School Registrar for review.
  • All registrations submitted during annual registration are understood to have a start date of August 23, 2010. Any exceptions must be requested in writing and approved by the School Director and Registrar in advance.  
  • A completed registration packet, a supply fee, a NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee, and a NON-REFUNDABLE last month’s tuition deposit are required to be considered for enrollment in the upcoming year.  
  • If a family registers a child and is accepted with an agreed upon start date and pays the supply fee, NON-REFUNDABLE registration and last month’s tuition deposit, BMWS will hold that child’s place. If your child does not attend on the agreed upon start date, their place in the program may be held for 30 days, without payment of tuition, depending on the availability of openings.  After 30 days the monthly tuition must be paid to hold your child’s place, because the school incurs all expenses associated with the enrollment of your child whether or not your child is attending.
  • If a PREVIOUSLY enrolled family would like to re-enroll during the current calendar year (Jan-Dec) the child was with-drawn, a REINSTATEMENT FEE of $600.00 will be due upon registration. 

HOW TO REGISTER

  • Complete the BMWS Registration Packet. (type directly into the document and complete all required fields)
  • Have the Emergency Medical Release form NOTARIZED.
  • Have the Physician's Release signed by your child's physician or his/her medical staff.
  • Obtain a copy of your child's current immunizations.
  • Submit the completed registration packet along with you registration and supply fee, and last month's tuition deposit to the school registrar.
  • You will be notified if you registration is chosen from the Placement Lottery
